Sheraton Kauai Poipu Beach Villas Resort

Starwood Vacation Ownership (SVO) is managing a $200 million renovation and 900,000 square foot expansion of the Sheraton Kauai Poipu Beach Villas resort complex on the island of Kauai in Koloa. The program consists of demolition and improvements to 227 of the 413 hotel rooms within the Garden Wing, construction of a new 18-unit wing and 328 new timeshare condo units, and a new access road plus 948 parking stalls.

SVO hired MOCA Systems to provide professional services in support of the programming, design, contracting and construction of the program. MOCA’s professionals augmented the SVO program and design team with cost and schedule controls to help optimize their investment and improve the overall performance of the project.
