Kevin Bernier
President & CEO
Mr. Bernier was promoted to President & CEO in 2005, after serving for six
months as Senior Vice President. Mr. Bernier has over 20 years experience in
commercial and operational leadership positions at General Electric
Corporation, Polaroid Corporation, Bain & Company, and the US Navy. He
has managed a range of software and services business units that served a
range of clients including the US federal government, commercial
organizations, and universities. He earned a B.S. in Civil Engineering from
Duke University and an M.B.A. from Cornell University.
Michael Carr, CCE
Senior Vice President
Mr. Carr was promoted to Senior Vice President in early 2006, after
serving in various leadership roles at MOCA Systems since helping to establish
the company in 1999. Mr. Carr is one of the original researchers who
developed MOCA's core technology at the Massachusetts Institute of
Technology. Prior to MOCA, Mr. Carr worked as a project engineer with Sellen
Construction in Seattle, WA. He earned a M.S. in Civil Engineering from the
Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a B.Sc. in Civil and Environmental
Engineering from the University of Alberta.
Dan Leary
Chief Technology Officer
Mr. Leary was hired as Chief Technology Officer in 1999 during the
incorporation of MOCA Systems. He is the original technology leader of the
MOCABuild™ project control platform and has led the refinement
of the technology over the past eight years. Mr. Leary has over 20 years
experience in software development, management, and IP creation at Oracle
Corporation (Minicomputer Products and Server Technologies Divisions),
Sybase Corporation, Torrent Systems, Plyasys and Open Ratings.
Dan has co-authored several US software patents in the area of database
internals and parallelism, and several pending US software patents on the
MOCABuild™ technology in the areas of database management and
resource allocation. He earned a B.S. in Philosophy from the
Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he also completed
Ph.D. coursework.
Frank Finneran
Vice President, Controller
Mr. Finneran was hired in 2007, and promoted to Vice President for Controllership and
Assistant Secretary. Mr. Finneran has over 25 years financial experience across several
industries, including software and AEC services. Mr. Finneran earned a B.S. in Accounting
from Northeastern University and an M.B.A. from Suffolk University.
Virgil Gray, P.E.
Vice President
Mr. Gray was hired as Vice President in 2006 and is responsible for the
program management of multiple large project control contracts to the US
government. Mr. Gray has 20 years of experience in civil engineering and
construction management for both public and private sector markets. His
project experiences range from municipal public works improvements to
multi-million dollar complex construction management assignments. Prior to
MOCA, Mr. Gray worked at Coler & Colantonio and the Bechtel Group.
Mr. Gray earned a B.S. in Construction Management from the University of
Maine, a M.S. in Civil Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, and
is a registered professional engineer in several states.
Denny Dodge, P.E.
Vice President, Services
Mr. Dodge was hired in 2007 and is responsible for the program management of multiple
large control contracts to the US Government including operations for the San Antonio office.
Mr. Dodge has 30 years experience in civil engineering and project controls including
10 years with the US Army Corps of Engineers. Mr. Dodge earned a B.S. in Civil Engineering from
the University of Texas, and is a registered professional engineer in several states.
Neal "Mac" McElhannon
Vice President
Mr. McElhannon was hired as Vice President in 2007 and is responsible for the client lead
to the US Air Force and the US Air Force Center for Environmental Excellence (AFCEE)
headquartered in San Antonio. He retired from the US Air Force as a Colonel in 2007
after 24 years service in the Civil Engineering Branch. He earned his B.S. in Civil Engineering
from the Air Force Academy, a M.S. in Systems Administration from St. Mary's University,
and a M.S. in National Security Strategy from the National War College.
