The new 125,000 SF Public Safety Building and dedicated 65,000 SF Emergency Operations Center (EOC) will establish a critical emergency response center in a vibrant Salt Lake City downtown block. The facility is expected to achieve Net Zero Energy and be the first Net Zero Public Safety Building in the country.

The Massachusetts Department of Capital Asset Management (DCAM) used the design and construction of the new Applied Technology Center at Cape Cod Community College in West Barnstable, MA as the basis for a sustainable design prototype for future statewide implementation. The facility was the first LEED certified state government building and earned the DCAM programming study award. The Applied Technology Building is a 40,000 square foot faciilty budgeted at $8 million that includes a new laboratory, offices and classroom space.

Under the Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) directive, the Department of Defense invested more than $1.1 billion in construction at Aberdeen Proving Ground for the new Army Team Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) center. The C4ISR Team was transferred from Fort Monmouth, New Jersey to Aberdeen Proving Ground and the federal government hired more than 4,000 civilian employees during this transfer.
