The MOCAManage software application is an innovative web-based project management information system (PMIS). It includes a LEAN-based Commitment Manger for “pushing” and tracking team commitments based on agreed-upon project milestones.
MOCAManage uses “last planner” principles to push commitments to the person responsible for completing that task.
MOCAManage is used by the owner and the project team to manage a program and individual projects within the program. Our PMIS enables project teams to collect and document project information using role-based security credentials.
MOCAManage guides the team to use collaboration and communicate best practices to deliver the project on time and on budget.
It defines the cost, time, scope and quality of the project; identifies the team (people, organizations and their roles); helps organize documents in a central filing system (agreements, designs, contracts, permits); enables workflow approvals and commitments among team members; and is the web portal that presents vital signs on a dashboard and customized reports.
Through the use of MOCAManage, project teams can manage the project based on milestones associated with the larger overall project schedule. Sequences are established and, as one person completes their task, the system pushes a notice to the next responsible party to notify the team of both the completion of the old task and the assignment of the new task. In this process it is clear who owns the responsibility to complete each project-critical task.
